Lets factor it and see
[tex] {x}^{2} + 5x + 6 = 0 \\ (x + 3)(x + 2) = 0 \\ x + 3 = 0 \\ x = - 3 \\ x + 2 = 0 \\ x = - 2[/tex]
There are 2 solutions x=-2 and x=-3.
Try graphing it youll see it crosses the x axis twice.
