6 = 1 - 2n + 5
6 = 6 - 2n
-2n = 0
n = 0/-2

when 0/x = 0
x/0 = undefined

n = 0

0 is the only solution.

    (1+5)
6=6-2n
    (subtract 6 from both sides)
0=-2n
    (divide -2 from both sides
0=n

6 = 1 - 2(0) + 5
