The outside temperature was 4 Celsius. For the next 6 hours the temperature changed at a mean rate of -0.8 Celsius per hour. Then the temperature changed by +0.3 Celsius per hour for the next 2 hours. What was the final temperature?

Start 4-0.8(6)+0.3(2)=X. Multiply: 4-4.8+0.6=X. Add/Subtract: -0.2=X :)
