Is 4/1 equivalent to 4?


I'm asking because for an answer on my homework I got
f(x)=4/1x^2 but the only option for that is f(x)=4x^2

Yes. 4/1 is the same as 4.
Any number divided by 1 is itself. So 4/1 = 4
