I am really confused as to what my teacher means by Answer the following questions in complete and full sentences. Do NOT RESTATE the question in your response. I honestly don't understand how can i answer a question in complete sentences without restating help? Maybe also give an example please

Answer:

She means just answer the question and nothing else , you have tried to "restate the question" meaning you just reworded the question to make it seem like the answer

Example:  

Restating questions means repeating the question, if it is short, or rephrasing it, if it is longer.
