A florist is making flower bouquets to sell at her shop. She has 36 red roses and 54 yellow roses. She wants to

Step 2:

Simplify the fraction as much to see the most bouquets she can make

36/54

36 ÷ 2 = 18

54 ÷ 2 = 27

So you have 18/27!

But... it still can be simplified further

18/27 = 2/3

2/3 is the most simplified answer.

The 2 is the red roses in each bouquet

And the 3 is the yellow roses in each bouquet!

This is the least amount of flowers she can keep in each bouquet to ensure she will use all of them!
