          E' = [tex]-13.6 \times Z^{2}[/tex]
  or,       E' = [tex]E \times Z^{2}[/tex]
Thus, we can conclude that total energy of the remaining electron in the ionized atom is [tex]E \times Z^{2}[/tex].
