1. Open clamshell all the way.
2. Lower bucket to ground.
3. Tilt bucket slightly forward.
4. Make contact with materials being picked up. 5. Close clamshell and raise bucket to carry height. For LOGS, brush, etc

b) 2,3,1,4
c) 3,1,2,4
d) 4,3,2,1
